"The Tulip Garden (Srinagar India)" also known as Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden is located at the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountain on the banks of the Dal Lake, Srinagar. The garden is situated at the foothills of Zabarwan and has about 60 varieties of multi-colored tulips. The plantation of tulips begins from September, i.e. before the start of winter season.  The garden is in full bloom by April and the site becomes heavenly during the full bloom season with all shades of the rainbow scattered on the fields of this garden. This garden is the most spacious one in Srinagar as compared to the other Mughal Gardens thus it becomes Asia's largest tulips garden and likely to become the world’s second largest too by area.

How to reach?


You may reach Tulip Garden (Srinagar India) either by air or by road, all the airports and highways are well connected to Srinagar. There is no problem to visit Srinagar except winter season. In winter Srinagar airport and Nationa Highway are frequently closed due to heavy snowfall.
